My Opinion

This was a sweet read. I preferred it to book 1 and 2, and I definitely think this author has got better with the more she writes.

This book focuses on Dylan's story and you can't help but love him and Journey. I liked that there was a lot less heartbreak and difficult subjects in this book. It was more light hearted and just what I think the series needed. I enjoyed watching the characters grow an coming together, and they blended perfectly.

I was slightly disappointed that Dylan's soldier aspect was lost. I thought he would struggle coming out on enlistment, and I kept waiting for it to happen because of how things had been set up previously. Therefore when it never arose, I couldn't help but think the author missed a trick.

Overall I'm excited to start book 4 and it's what drew me to this series and the one I've been wanting to read.
