My Opinion
I can't finish this book. It sounded like a great read that would be full of action, but it has taken me a week to get through the first 15 chapters! I could normally read that in the space of a few hours. There is too much info-dumping that it actually gave me a headache and I fell asleep twice. The story tells rather than shows and I don't find myself invested at all. I did flick forward to see if it got better, with the hope of continuing, but in the six sections I picked at random, the writing seemed just as dense with little speech and movement.
I wanted to like this book and I hate DNFing, but it's just so slow and I can't invest any more time in it.
