My Opinion

Having read book one in this series, I was interested to read book 3 when I saw it up on NetGalley and I think I enjoyed this instalment even more. I'm definitely going to have to go back and read book 2 at some point though as even though the books are standalone, I don't want to miss out.

This book was a fast-paced and quick, easy read. Its story flows well and a lot happens for a 90 page novella. I didn't think the plot would take the turns it did, which kept me hooked the whole way through.

As well as this I liked the characters overall. They were both strong, well developed characters that had a clear personality. Gabriel's was especially strong.

If there is one thing bad--and it's not really bad--I have to say about this series, it's the length. I would love to read more about these characters and have a full-length novel about their stories so there could be more detail and depth.

Overall, this was just as enjoyable as book 1. I would definitely recommend to those looking for an easy fighter read.
