This novella did something really rare for me while I was reading it and it was a pleasant surprise. Normally I find novellas a quick, easy read that I breeze through and while What a Girl Needs did this, it also had me actually feeling for the characters. I connected really well with them in this and couldn't put it down. There were parts that made me smile and then there were parts that broke my heart as I felt for the characters. I fell in love with their story and think I liked this one even more than the first. Georgia was a strong character that was easy to connect with and I liked how she gave up control slowly. I also like how everything built between her and Max, it was just as hot--if not more so--than the first book and I look forward to reading more from this author!
