    I am currently reading a fantasy titled 'The Treasure of Isian' by Serena Clarke.
    On page 142..."Sir?" Elani whispered to Garin. "is it appropriate for me to sit with you?"
    He hesitated for a brief moment, glancing at the host.
    Lord Paten laughed having overheard her question. "Of courseyou may sit with us. Our province may not be as advanced as your great kingdom, but women are valued as equal here as there."
