Description:
GONE.
He's gone away,
Deployed.
My biggest fear realized.
Well, my second biggest fear.
He's overseas, but he's alive.
When Loïc left, my heart went with him.
In shattered pieces of good-bye.
Until we are together again…
GONE.
Leaving her was the hardest thing I've ever done.
Until I got here.
The danger, the fear, the pain—
It's real.
I promised I'd get back to her.
A promise I'm determined to keep.
A vow that might be harder than I thought.
A battle of my heart.
A war with my mind.
A fight to return to London…
***Intended for readers 18+ due to mature content.
***Book 2 in The Flawed Heart Series, must read Finding London first.

My Opinion
Keeping London definitely lived up to the first book. I wasn't sure at the end of Finding London whether I'd continue the series. However, when I got the tour invite and saw I didn't have any other ARCs until July things all just seemed to fit and I wanted to know what happened to Loic and London.
Things in this book did start off slow. I assumed it would pick up with Loic being deployed straight away and when it didn't I was slightly disappointed. For me, that's where the book began and things became interesting. The aforementioned seemed a bit of a filler.
Anyway, once Loic was sent to Afghanistan things became more interesting. I liked the emails between the characters and I thought the author kept their personalities well in the writing. She also did a good job of creating a story around the emails. Things happened in their every day life too.
I won't reveal anything more because I don't want to ruin anything. Even if the book takes a predictable line in the plot, it was still a good follow up. I will more than likely read book 3.
