About the Author

Where to start? I suppose the beginning is a good place. I am a mother of two boys and I am happily married. I wrote my first chapter while was house sitting for my mother, while I was on Mat leave with my second son. I was taking a break from my schoolwork, while I was studying to be a Teacher's Assistant.

When I was younger I always wrote, however I never I thought I would go anywhere with it. They day I wrote my chapter, I was truly shocked as I sat back and read what I wrote. When I told one of my girlfriends what I had done, she cheered me on and away I went....Before I knew it, I had my first draft of my first ever manuscript. Darkness Embraced.

I enjoy reading in the genre that I write about and I have always been a huge fan of vampires, werewolves and the like. They have always fascinated me. I have read other genres, yet I always come back to the paranormal romance.

I am also a BIG Trekky! Yes, I watch SPACE, it is my favorite channel and Dr. Who and Merlin have become one of my new favorite shows along with Alpha's and Being Human.

I love to spend time at the family cottage and I try to get up there at least once year in the summer. It is quiet the trek, however, once there it is a relaxing week by the lake during the day and awe inspiring view under the bright stars at night. After, we enjoy a good game of Rumolli. 

During the fall, which is by far my favorite season I love decorating our house for Halloween, and I even dress up in costumes. I just love the season, the changing colors of the leaves and the smell of the wood burning in the wood stove. And the best for last PUMPKIN SEEDS! Yummy!

When, I am not enjoying our family cottage or Halloween decorations, I am a full time working Mother of two young boys. As I have already mentioned I am a happily married wife with a supportive husband. He supports all of my
coaching whims and he encourages my writing. He is my inspiration and my friend. I also love to coach my children
in sports, mostly Rugby, because I played for seven years and I have a love for the game. However I also coach whatever other sport they decide to play, my most recent venture has been Lacrosse and Hockey.

We also just added another baby to our family, Timber. She is a German shepherd and just over year old, if she is not eating our shoes; she is eating our pillowcases. She keeps me on my toes, oh how I Iove young puppies! I really do. I am an animal lover at heart.
