My Opinion

A sweet read with a little angst thrown in. It kept me hooked and entertained, and was a great addition to the series. Cole and Roxy are still my favourite, but I enjoyed Holy and Izzy's story.

My Opinion

Sugar Kisses is the book I wanted to read as soon as I finished 3 A.M. Kisses a while back. Roxy always interested me as a character and I wanted to see Cole meet his match.

Roxy was certainly that.

This book kept me hooked and I liked the characters. Roxy was tough on the outside, but on the inside she had a softer side that she only showed to a few people. Cole was one of the people who managed to work his way beneath her tough exterior and I liked watching their romance evolve.

Saying that, a couple of times I did think things moved too quickly, such as the characters admitting their love for each other and the resolve at the end. The pace was a little too fast for me at these points for me to really buy into it 100%.


However, I still really enjoyed this book. It was sweet and kept me entertained. I would definitely recommend the series.

My Opinion
  
I'm not sure what to make of Winter Kisses. I enjoyed 3am Kisses and after reading that I really wanted Cole's story. I knew this wasn't, but it was free and on my list so I thought I'd give it go.

Unfortunately, it didn't really live up to book one. It was short and the whole thing felt rushed. I never grew to connect with the characters. It felt like a snapshot into a bigger story. There was more potential than it delivered.

Saying that I will read book 3 at some point because I want to read Cole's story. Hopefully that book will be longer.

Baya seems determined to show her brother she’s not a little kid and equally determined to use Bryson’s body to prove her point. It’s been made pretty clear that Baya is off limits to Bryson but their undeniable sparks explode into a whole lot more than just a few 3:AM KISSES.

My Opinion

This was a sweet read with a few darker twists at the end. Despite its faults something about it kept me intrigued and reading on. It also may have persuaded me to buy the next one.

This is your typical girl-falls-for-her-brother's-friend romance. It was enjoyable and the plot kept me hooked. I found it to be paced well and there were some 'aww' moments as well as others that made me smile. For the most part it was a cute read. There were some secrets, but they're not really a major part until the end. Things didn't go too deep making this an easy read.

The only major thing that stopped me rating this book higher was Baya's narrations and inner thoughts. At times she felt so immature. I know she's inexperienced and a virgin, but seriously? Some of the stuff she came out with was strange. I also didn't fall in love with her sense of humour. It may work for others, but it felt childish to me.

Other than that, I did the chemistry to be ruined by some of the description during intimate moments. Once again Baya's thoughts would interrupt things, or the way the author would describe things would make me cringe and ruin the moment.


Overall though it was an easy read with a few twists. I'm hoping Cole's book is next and if it is I may be persuaded to buy it.
